'Antaeus' is a giant who lives in the Intruder's cocoon that resembles Hell. As he is a copy of the Antaeus of Dante's "La Divina Commedia", his role is to lower Storm and his friends onto the Frozen Sea of Traitors, similar to what Antaeus in the book does for Dante and Virgil. Nomad notes that despite the horrid location, Antaeus is at least friendly.
